Since our founding, we have exceeded our initial goals, funding scholarships for deserving students and providing mentorship to guide them through their college journeys. Your support directly impacts students by helping them afford tuition, purchase textbooks, and receive guidance from mentors. 

We are a Registered 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Private Foundation. Lyles Swanson Empower Merit Scholarship & Mentoring Program, Inc. is a tax-exempt, nonprofit private foundation established in the State of Georgia in 2024. Effective January 15, 2024, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has recognized our organization as exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3) and classified us as a private foundation under Section 509(a).  

Contributions made to the Lyles Swanson Empower Merit Scholarship & Mentoring Program, Inc. are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law under IRC Section 170.
