Who We Are
The Lyles Swanson Empower Foundation is a family-led nonprofit committed to supporting Black students in their higher education journeys. Through scholarships and mentorship, we help students overcome financial barriers, develop leadership skills, and build a strong academic foundation. Our focus is on empowering future leaders at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and within our own community.

Our mentorship program helps students navigate their college journey with support in academics, goal-setting, and career development. Scholars receive one-on-one guidance, structured check-ins, and access to valuable resources throughout their undergraduate years.
