We offer scholarships designed to support students attending college and HBCUs, ensuring financial stability and mentorship during their academic journey.
We currently offer three scholarships designed to support students financially while providing valuable mentorship to help them succeed in college.
Eligibility Note: All scholarships are for undergraduate students enrolled full-time in on-campus programs.
For graduating seniors of McCormick High School in McCormick, SC
$2,000 for the first year + One year of mentorship
Must be attending a four-year, on-campus college or university
Next Deadline: April 30, 2025
For students attending an HBCU
$2,000 per year, renewable for up to three years or until the student graduates from their undergraduate program, whichever comes first
For descendants of the Lyles & Swanson families attending a four-year, on-campus college or university
$2,000 per year, renewable for up to three years or until the student graduates from their undergraduate program, whichever comes first
Renewal Requirements for Eligible Scholarships
For HBCU or Family scholarship recipients to remain eligible for scholarship renewal, students must:
Submit an scholarship renewal application.
Submit a letter of recommendation (e.g., from a professor, advisor, or mentor).
Provide an updated resume showing at least one new involvement (e.g., a job, organization, or volunteer work).
Submit an official transcript with a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
Complete and submit a passion project that reflects personal or academic growth.
Applications for scholarships are reviewed annually, and students must meet the eligibility requirements and submit necessary documentation, including an essay, recommendation form, resume, and academic records.
